Description
Electrostatic remoistening not only improves the quality of print products, it boosts the productivity of the entire process chain.
Remoistened signatures can be mixed without problem with products printed in other processes. The signatures lie truly flat.
Problems such as inner sheets dropping of stiched printed matter or creases at the folder perforation are a thing of the past. Remoistening ensures elasticity of the web, significantly increasing the ability of the web to withstand mechanical stress.
Control
The system is remote controlled by touch screen. The display informs the operator of condition, proper functioning and any errors in the system.
The operator is carefully guided through the menu via key symbols with clearly allocated functions. With the basic version of the remote control, only the web width and desired remoistening level must be entered. When integrated into newer machines, all settings can be made from the control centre.
Operational benefits
Remoistened paper has better processing properties. Fewer web breaks and higher speeds in the press and down the line add efficiency to the process.
